Website design, coding and hosting
Business Card type websites, providing plenty of information to potential customers in a single page or two, can be designed
and built for as little as $200, especially if you already have a logo or a clear idea of the design you want and the information you'd like to present.
Multi-page sites that require design and production of many new graphics, or integration and customization of software packages, such as
WordPress for blogs or Miva Merchant shopping carts, require far more time and additional back-end server resources,
and can run as high as $2,000. Most average-sized sites I build, of moderate complexity, run $800-$1,400.
I can also host your site at competitive rates, on a secure Linux-based server. You'll have your own Plesk 10 control panel, FTP access,
and a catalogue of applications that install with a single click. Rates depend on resources, so let's discuss your needs and I'll
make a bid.
I hand-code the websites I build and the customizations I make to the software applications used on the sites, so my code stays
streamlined, functional and looking good across many different browsers and web-enabled phone and gadgets, even as the protocols
for web-building change over the years. If you've got an existing site that falls to pieces when viewed on a cell phone, I can revamp
it and make it work with the changing technology. I've been building websites since 1998 and hosting them since 2004.
